Shoes Up #36

Description

In this 36th issue of Shoes Up, the Parisian magazine explores the cities of Brazil, Argentina, Russia, Ukraine, Mexico, Egypt, Senegal, Palestine, France and Italy in search of “street art.” From installations protesting individualism to huge, hyper-colored artworks, they’ve found that works in the street will never have the same impact on people and on the world as works of art in art galleries. For the artists, however, street art really translates into meeting people and sharing, reflecting and exchanging things — a whole other art when you’re out on the streets.
